Here i am going to the secret that i got from another community . I found that we can bypass the 39 minute of time while we are installing windows xp.

We all know that after loading the file or copying the file from the boot disk to temporary space the system requires a first time reboot.

Now if we press shift+f10 then the task manager will open and there we will find that a process is running named setup.exe

Now our task is to make the priority of this process maximum by right clicking on that.

We are done.

Find ur xp installed in 10 min with tolerance 2 min

Note:if command prompt is get opening use command for task manager

How to Remove Funny UST Scandal.avi.exe (Virus)

How to remove the virus:
first download taskiller  and install it to your computer because you can’t use task manager to terminate the virus(the virus automatically close task manager).
run taskiller and left click it on the system tray(the one with a skull icon)
click processes
to close the virus, select process and click yes to the question
(process to close)

1. killer.exe
2. lsass.exe
3. smss.exe

note: close only file that have the same icon of Funny UST Scandal.avi.exe
CMD STEPS

1. now, click “start” then “run”
2. type “cmd” without quotes
3. type “cd\” without quotes
4. type “attrib -h -s smss.exe” without quotes
5. type “attrib -h -s autorun.inf” without quotes
6. type “start c:” without quotes (a new window will open)
7. select smss.exe, autorun.inf, Funny UST Scandal.avi.exe and delete it

If theres any drive or a partition type “d:” in command prompt without quotes “d” is the drive letter then repeat the CMD STEPS number 4-7 above…….

• now type this on the command prompt “cd windows” without quotes.
• type “attrib -h -s smss.exe” (without quotes)
• type “start c:\windows” (without quotes)
• delete the file smss.exe
• now, goto c:\documents and settings\all users\startmenu\programs\startup
• delete lsass.exe

click “start” then “run”
type “regedit” without quotes then delete the registry entries above….

HOW TO MAKE PEN DRIVE BOOTABLE(STEP BY STEP)

1. START WINDOWS ENABLER IT WILL SHOW ICON IN SYSTEM TRAY & INSTALL THE HP FORMAT TOOL..



2. CONNECT USB DRIVE RIGHT CLICK ON IT AND SELECT FORMAT



3. NOW CLICK ON THE WINDOWS ENABLER ICON ON SYSTEM TRAY TO TURN IT ON



4. NOW ON FORMATE DRIVE PAGE SELECT QUICK FORMAT AND CREATE MS DOS START UP DISK



5. THAN FORMAT THE DRIVE



6. GO TO START -> SELECT RUN -> TYPE CMD IN THE RUN BOX & PRESS ENTER COMMAND PROMPT WILL SHOW UP



7. TYPE IN FOLLOWING COMMANDS ONE BYE ONE AND PRESS ENTER



CD\

MKDIR C:\DOS

XCOPY G:\ C:\DOS /H



NOW CLOSE THE COMMAND PROMPT



8. START HP USB DISK FORMAT TOOL FROM DESKTOP SHORTCUT



9. GIVE VOLUME LABLE GHOST



10. SELECT QUICK FORMAT AND CREATE A DOS STARTUP DISK



11. SELECT USING DOS SYSTEM FILES LOCATED AT ........ BROWSE TO THE FOLDER C:\DOS



12. START FORMATTING



13. WHEN FORMAT FINISHES CLOSE HP TOOL



14. NOW COPY THE GHOST.EXE FILE ON THE PEN DRIVE ITS DONE



EVEN AFTER FORMATTING YOUR PEN DRIVE IT WILL REMAIN BOOTABLE..



SO YOU CAN USE IT AS A BOOTABLE GHOST DEVICE AS WELL AS NORMAL STORAGE DEVICE IN DAY TO DAY PURPOSE...



15. NOW GO TO BIOS AT STARTUP AND ENABLE BOOT FROM USB DEVICE AND SET IT THE FIRST BOOT DEVICE



16. NOW BOOT FORM USB AND COMMAND PROMPT WILL COME JUST TYPE IN GHOST AND PRESS ENTER THE NORTON GHOST WILL START

How to improve on shutdown time ? Close apps automatically & quickly at shutdown

step1: Open Registry by going to START-RUN and typing REGEDIT.

step2: Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\CONTROL PANEL\DESKTOP and look for
          AutoEndTasks.

step3: On my computer default value is 0. Change it to 1. Thats all.

step4: Further more you can reduce the time it takes for Windows to issue kill directive to all active/hung   applications.

In doing this only constraint that you should make sure exists is that HungAppTimeout is greater than WaitToKillAppTimeout. Change the values of WaitToKillAppTimeout to say 3500 (since default value for HungAppTimeout 5000 and for WaitToKillAppTimeout is 20000)
